Thanks to Sarah Raskoff for the photo!

I am presently a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Arizona, where I am writing a dissertation on how to evaluate individual contributions to structural oppression under the supervision of Tom Christiano.

I work primarily in social and political philosophy, with particular focuses on social norms, social complexity, agency, ideology, collective self-determination, and secession. My research often utilizes interdisciplinary tools and concepts from economics and the social sciences, which includes those formal methods common to philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE).

When not philosophizing, you can catch me attempting to learn how to use oil paints, playing Baldur's Gate 3, or forcing people to look at pictures of my cats: Tiny and Theo.
